This policy explains what information Flora Lake Systems, LLC ("Flora Lake," "we," "us") collects through floralake.us, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to remove it. We kept it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our project interest form, we collect:
Your name, email address, and phone number
Your project's city, state, and ZIP code
Buyer type, planned use, and the package you are interested in
Lot status and project timing
Anything you choose to write in the notes box
Your consent to be contacted
If you email or call us, we also keep what you send us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, approximate location based on your IP address, and how you arrived at the site. See "Analytics and cookies" below.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
Respond to your project interest and talk with you about your project
Prepare package information and, if you ask, a package price
Send you short updates about where your request stands
Understand how people use our website so we can improve it
Keep records required for running our business and meeting legal obligations
We do not use your form information to send you unrelated marketing without your permission.
Who sees it
Our team. Form submissions go to our sales and operations staff, who contact you about your project.
Service providers. Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which stores form submissions and delivers them to us by email. We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic. These companies handle information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
When required by law. We may share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it to other companies for their marketing.
Analytics and cookies
Our website uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Squarespace uses cookies to make the site work. We use Google Analytics 4 to see things like how many people visit and which pages they view. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect this information.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site may not work as well if you do. You can also opt out of Google Analytics by using Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to them, so our site does not change its behavior when it receives one.
How long we keep it
We keep project interest information for as long as we need it to work with you on your project and to keep reasonable business records, and then we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, including relying on established service providers. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Email lindsey@floralake.us with your request. Please include the name and email address you used on the form so we can find your information. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Some information may be kept if the law requires it or if we need it to finish a transaction you started.
Children
Our website is meant for adults planning building projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
Flora Lake is based in Florida, and our website is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be handled in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
