Shipping & Delivery

Flora Lake ships pre-engineered packages to building sites across the United States.

Freight

Freight is not included in the package price. You can choose your own carrier for pickup and delivery. If you don't, we get a shipping quote and add it to your invoice.

Who is responsible in transit

If you choose your own carrier, the package is your responsibility once your carrier picks it up. If we arrange shipping, it is our responsibility until it is delivered to your site.

Timing

Production usually takes 4 to 10 weeks, depending on quantity. We schedule shipping during production. Delivery is expected to take less than a week after production is complete.

Getting the site ready

You or your builder provide truck access to the site, a telehandler or crane on site to unload the truck, and a flat, level area to stage the package and keep it dry. The driver does not unload.

At delivery

Check the delivery against the packing list when it arrives. Report any damage at the time you receive the delivery, and write it on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Once you accept and unload the package, unloading, storage and assembly are yours.

Redelivery and storage

If a delivery has to be redelivered or stored, we charge our direct expense plus 10%.

Returns

Flora Lake does not accept returns. Each package is made from materials ordered and custom cut for your order, so they cannot be returned. Missing or damaged items are handled under the delivery and warranty terms in your contract.

Deposits

Your deposit pays for the materials ordered and custom cut for your package. Once your deposit is paid and we have ordered materials, the deposit is non-refundable.
